The paper presents data on the role of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha) receptors in skin disorders, especially in psoriasis. The usefulness of the measurement of these receptors as indicators of the disease activity has been discussed. New therapeutic options using anti-TNF-alpha molecules in dermatologic diseases are presented.
