A controlled method of purifying of tuberculoproteins precipitated from heated culture filtrates has been adopted for preparation of PPD-S tuberculin. The purified preparation contained 92.4% of protein, 4.0% of nucleic acid and 2.1% of polysaccharides. The protein component was homogenous in agar gel electrophoresis.
