Observations on the life cycle of Parastrigea robusta Szidat, 1928 (Trematoda: Strigeidae) in Czechoslovakia

In southern Moravia and southern Slovakia, Czechoslovakia, cercariae of Parastrigea robusta were found naturally in Anisus vortex, Gyraulus albus and Segmentina nitida, metacercariae in Triturus vulgaris and T. cristatus and adults in Anas platyrhynchos. Tadpoles and adults of Rana esculenta and Bombina bombina did not become infected with metacercariae either naturally or experimentally.
