Retrospective analysis of prognostical significance of different data concerning occurrence of purulent complications of an acute pancreatitis (AP) was conducted. There was established, that activity of myeloperoxidate and content of interleukin--8 mostly often are correlated with frequency of purulent complications occurrence of an AP.
