Oferol tablets is a myorelaxing drug (250 mg chlorzoxazone) combined with an antipyretic analgesic (250 mg aminophenazone). Administered to 42 patients with different diseases of the locomotorium, such as acute sciatica, lumbago, discal hernia, cervical syndromes, degenerative arthropathies, Oferol proved extremely useful, having a favourable influence both on the contractions and on the articular pains. The effect is very rapid, the improvement setting in 48 hours after administration land attaining a maximum on the 5th or 6th day. In some more resistant cases physiotherapeutical procedures were associated to the treatment. The drug was well tolerated with no untoward side effects.
