Highly inbred mice 1 to 21 days old were removed from their dams and fed by tube with 4% solutions of egg albumin, human, pig, bovine or rabbit y-globulin or albumin or human serum. A 2% solution of the protein and fluorescein in physiologically balanced solution containing 10% normal mouse serum was given by mouth; the mice were killed 2.5 h later and their intestines were examined with a microscope.
