Data on 41 white patients 30-75 yr old are reviewed. The chronic pulmonary type of infection was present in 12 patients and the chronic disseminated form in 29. Clinical and mycological diagnosis is discussed, with an account of pulmonary and mucocutaneous involvement. In all cases patients were men, working with soil and residing in a subtropical forest region.
