After a description of the method, the formula for a negatively accelerated exponential curve y = c+dx-ea bx was fitted to each individual. The acceleration constant e -b was found to show sex differences and appeared to be related to variations in physique, as did other constants. The asymptote estimated at 4 years and the constants related to it may yield indices predictive of later body length. The paper ends with some remarks about a possible correlation between constants in the Jenss curve for childhood and constant in the Gompertz curve for adolescent data.
