The investigation was for the crop year 1978/79 and was concerned with the input/output relationships of adopters and non-adopters, and the employment of human and bullock labour in the light of new technology. There was a significant rise in income for adopters over non-adopters and the employment of the two sorts of labour was also higher. Adopters doubled both the rice and wheat output per ha.
