How to avoid poisoning due to consumption of the wrong type of mushrooms is the first rule of thumb which mushroom gatherers and health professionals in charge of advising the public about health cares need bear in mind. The objective of this article is to provide a wide spread of information to all interested people and to health professionals so that they know how to act when poisoning occurs, thus helping to prevent and reduce the number of deaths, the secondary effects and the complications caused by different poisons and their accompanying syndromes.
