To investigate the chemical constituents in the aerial part of Cynanchum chinense. The chemical constituents were extracted with solvent and separated by column chromatography. The structures were identified by spectral methods: The structures were identified as 7-O-alpha-L-rhamnopy-ranosyl-kaempferol-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside, 7-O-alpha-L-rhamnopy-ranosyl-kaempferol-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside and 7-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyr-anosylkaempferol-3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl(1-->2)- beta-D-glucopyranoside. All the three compounds were separated from C. chinense for the first time.
