14C and 3H-labelled guajacol-glycerol-ether was administered to cats both intravenously and intragastrically, and the activity of blood plasrna and urine was measured up to 420 min following application. The activity distribution over organs and tissues 15, 120, 300, and 420 min from administration was determined. The route of application proved to have no.influence. As compared to blood activity, there was no activity increase neither in muscles nor in the central nervous system. The administered guajacol-glycerol-ether is excreted mostly unchanged with urine and bile, only traces are found as metabolites pyrocatechin and guajacol.
