Aged Hereford cows, naturally infected with Dictyocaulus viviparus, were given an oral drench of cambendazole at 20 or 25 mg/kg body-weight. There was an over-all reduction of 95% of all mature stages and 67% of all immature stages of D. viviparus. 25 mg/kg was no more effective than 20 mg/kg. The efficacy of cambendazole against immature stages of D. viviparus was rather erratic.
