Pregnancy in women with kidney aplasia

The paper presents 24 cases of pregnancy and labor in women with kidney aplasia complicated by reproductive system anomalies and affections of the solitary kidney (pyelonephritis, hydronephrosis). Pregnancy contraindications for such patients are determined. Pregnancy outcome prognosis was favorable in intact renal function and absence of infection. Chronic pyelonephritis and renal insufficiency worsen the prognosis.
