The numbers of eggs/g of feces obtained by the Stoll's egg count dilution technique are always greater than those obtained by the Katz's modified thick smear technique. To prove this observations the present study was performed. The numbers of eggs/g of feces obtained by the former technique was .apprx. 2 times greater than those obtained by the latter technique; they were significantly different (P < 0.001).
