The characteristics of cardiac rhythm regulation in patients with duodenal peptic ulcer

The authors studied the cardiac rhythm regulation status in 122 patients with duodenal ulcer. The studies were done by using a method of mathematical analysis of cardiac rhythm. Features of cardiac rhythm regulation in duodenal ulcer patients are as follows: central type disturbances in regulation mechanisms; normo- or vagotonic type regulation of cardiac rhythm; sufficiently stable in time status of vegetative homeostasis determining the course (prognosis) of the illness.
