The similarities and differences in morphological and microscopical characters of the fruits of Crataegus pinnatifida, C. pinnatifida var. major, C. cuneata, C. scabrifolia, C. hupehensis, C. kansuensis, C. maximowiczii and C. sanguinea are presented. A key to the identification of the species from their fruits is presented.
