Results of lung function testing in myasthenic children to be thymectomized were compared with the results in healthy children. Data of adult myasthenic patients were also included for comparison. Lung function was within normal range. It seems reasonable to widen functional diagnostics in myasthenic children by occlusion pressure and minute voluntary ventilation measurements.
