Auricular chromoblastomycosis. A case report

A case is reported in a 66-yr-old man from Bahia, Brazil, who presented with a 3-yr history of an eczematous lesion on the left ear. Histological examination of a biopsy sample of the lesion revealed giant cells containing hyphal elements and cultures grew Phialophora verrucosa.
