The paper presents data on the treatment of injuries of terminal phalanges of the fingers in children. A classification of the injuries proceeding from the traumatization of all the tissues of a phalanx is introduced. Data are presented on the treatment of injuries of the terminal phalanges in children with the aid of adhesive tape left in situ for long periods of time. Primary plastic repair of the defects is indicated in only 7% of children. Good cosmetic and functional results were achieved, which permitted to recommend the method for wide clinical employment.
