Three cases of primary pulmonary hypertension (PPH) were found in 6935 autopsies within the past 40 years at the university hospital. Comparative study of clinical and pathologic data were also performed. The authors reviewed the literature concerned, and discussed the diagnosis and misdiagnosis of PPH.
