Fluorescent staining reveals that the translocation T(3;?)6Ca involves chromosomes No. 14 and No. 15 of the fluorescent karyotype of the normal mouse. The smaller marker chromosome arises from the centromere region of No. 15. Linkage group III can therefore be assigned to chromosome No. 14. T(14; 17)264Ca involves chromosomes No. 5 and No. 13.
