A questionnaire, mail survey of 105 patients with ileoanal reservoirs (59% male, 41% female; 15-59 years old) was carried out to: estimate stool frequency and timing; evaluate the relation between meal size and frequency, and stool frequency; identify foods not tolerated by patients; and to make dietary recommendations for patients.
