Two cases of paradoxic bronchial constriction after inhalation of fenoterol and ipratropium bromide are presented. Both patients had bronchial asthma. In the first case the inhalation of fenoterol produced dyspnea and a decrease of FEV1 and FEF25-75. In the second similar observations were made after inhalation of ipratropium bromide. The above mentioned observations illustrate the risk of drug related paradoxic reactions, especially in atopic patients.
