The impact of the establishment of the Orissa State Co-operative Oilseed Growers' Federation (Oil Orissa) on the production and productivity of oilseeds in Kujanga and Niali blocks in Cuttack district, Orissa, India is discussed. It is observed that a considerable increase in the area, productivity and production of oilseed crops has resulted particularly for groundnuts and rapeseed-mustard.
