Oral contraception with a biphasic tablet (observations with anteovin)

The effect of a biphasic contraceptive Anteovin was examined on the basis of clinical observations and laboratory findings in 161 women wanting to prevent conception. The preparation was found to be highly effective, pregnancy was not observed. Anteovin is capable of controlling manifesting cycle anomalies and side effects of other contraceptive tablets. The drug itself has no notable unwanted effects. Its greatest advantages are the lack or very low number of irregular bleedings, such as amenorrhoeas and hypomenorrhoeas-due to the biphasic drug administration-, and the safety of the drug due to its low hormone content.
