Observations with anteovin "step-up" contraceptive tablet in young women

The effect of Anteovin biphasic contraceptive tablet has been examined in 126 adolescent- and nullipara young women, respectively. During the 897 treated cycles pregnancy did not occur. The tablet controlled definitely cycle anomalies occurring frequently in teenage as well as the side effects caused by other contraceptives. The use of biphasic tablet caused mild and temporary side effects only rarely. The wanted fertility recurred within a short period after drug withdrawal. the examined contraceptive tablet is recommended for young women as the drug of choice.
