Electroneuromyographic study of alcoholic polyneuropathies and the possibilities of using anticholinesterase drugs

The efficacy of anticholinesterase (ACE) drugs was studied and compared in patients with alcoholic polyneuropathy (AP) subjected to electroneuromyographic (ENMG) studies. ENMG makes it possible to identify AP, to define the degree of the involvement of different components of the neuromotor apparatus into the pathological process. It has been established that ACE drugs may have individual action selectivity in patients afflicted with AP.
