Correction of tubal sterility. A retrospective review after surgical intervention to establish fertility in 68 women

68 women were reviewed 1 1/2-8 years (mean 3.6 years) after surgical intervention on the Fallopian tubes with the object of obtaining fertility. 34 (50%) of the women had 44 pregnancies and 28 (41%) of the women delivered 34 living infants. Lysis of adhesions, fimbriolysis, tubostomy and implantation were carried out with macrosurgical atraumatic technique. 5 out of 8 anastomoses were performed with microsurgical technique. The results obtained by the authors are comparable with similar studies from the literature. The authors conclude that Fallopian tube surgery is practical in small gynecological departments.
