Invasiveness of 334 strains of pathogenic Escherichia was studied using healthy animals and animals exposed to microwaves. Manifestation of conjunctivitis was found in strains secreted from people more often (51.2 .+-. 3.9%) in comparison with environmental strains (15.3 .+-. 2.8%). Preliminary exposure of animals to 500 mW/cm2 provoked virulence manifestation and caused generalization of the process (50% of animals) and animal mortality.
