A note on ovine demodicosis in the Sudan

Demodectic mange caused by Demodex sp. was first reported in the Sudan in 1941 in a bull. The condition in sheep in the country is recorded for the first time in this paper. Six sheep in an area 35 miles east of Khartoum were found infested, and clinical and histopathological findings are presented.
