The effect of three cultures of a nematode parasite, Romamomermis culicivorax (Ross and Smith, 1976), with different storage time at a temperature ranging 25-27.degree.C, on infestation of mosquito larvae of Culex quinquefasciatus Say, 1923, at second developmental stage, was compared. Nine hundred mosquito larvae clustered into three groups of 300, a control without infestation and preparasite forms of the nematode, obtained from the eclosion of eggs cultured 5, 13 and 24 weeks, for a 1:5 ratio, were used. Finally, different infestatation means and percent of mortality were observed.
