The conclusion from the presented data is that the micronucleus test is useful for studies of mutagenic potentials of low doses of heavy metals, which are considered significant environmental pollutants. These data have shown the advantage of using bone-marrow sampling at various times vs. testing different doses in the micronucleus test.
