Inter-district variations in agricultural productivity in Kerala

An examination was made of the variations in the productivity of 10 major food and cash crops (including plantations) between different districts in Kerala and the changes in productivity for each of these crops over a period. To make inter-district comparisons, biennial averages of area, output and productivity were estimated for the period 1959-60 to 1960-61.
