Parent White Carneaux pigeons were fed on commercial pigeon diet. Crop contents were taken from young pigeons soon after feeding on 15 occasions from the 1st to the 27th day from hatching. Contents were mainly pigeon milk on the 1st and 3rd days and composition approached that of the adult diet at 27 days.
