Effect of dextran 40,000 on the contents of inorganic phosphorus and phospholipids in the blood of patients with cerebral infarction at the very beginning of illness

Cerebral infarction changes significantly the content of inorganic phosphorus and phospholipids. Low molecular Dextran causes a statistically significant decrease of the phospholipid content in the blood serum of healthy persons and of patients with cerebral infarction. Dextran has no significant effect on the content of inorganic phosphorus in the blood serum of patients with cerebral infarction.
