Effects of feeding of T. dioica seeds at the level of 1 g per cent for eight weeks were studied in the normal, healthy, male albino rabbits. The seeds significantly lowered blood sugar, serum cholesterol, triglycerides and increased the level of phospholipids and HDL-cholesterol.
