Iron deficiency is a very common condition. Its clinical features vary from simple tissue deficiency to anemia. 122 patients with iron deficiency, among whom 102 with anemia, have been studied, in order to evaluate the effects of iron treatment related to the time necessary for the iron stores to become normal. Particular attention was given to oral treatment with Fe+++ CONDROITIN SULFONIC acid. The good tolerability of this drug allows oral treatment to be applied for very long times as is necessary when it is impossible to perform an etiological therapy.
