It is shown in the process of the development of lead-induced anemia that already in the preanemic period the content of phospholipids and cholesterol in the erythrocytic membrane is lowered. Changes in the structure and rise of electrophoretic mobility (EPM) of erythrocytes are recorded at the stage of hypohemoglobinemia. During the development of manifest anemia the form of erythrocytes is sharply changed, their EPM is lowered, the content of phospholipids and cholesterol in the membranes grows.
