Unilateral resection of the ganglion cervicale craniale in the Himalayan rabbit (half-albino) leads to depigmentation in parts of the homolateral ear and half of the nose. This depigmentation may be explained by an increase in skin temperature through a more intensive blood circulation (reversion of cold factor effects).
