We studied the prognostic factors of survival using Cox regression models of proportional risk in a group of 40 patients with renal cancer who hand undergone radical surgery and lymphadenectomy. The overall survival rates for this patient population was 64%, 59% and 53% at 1, 2 and 5 years, respectively. Distant metastasis (p < 0.002) and invasion of veins (p < 0.03) were the only two factors with a significant prognostic value.
