A 2-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel bitch with episodic crawling, arching of the back and collapse, responded on two occasions to primidone (about 15 mg/kg within a few hours orally) by becoming ataxic and tending to collapse with rigidity of the limbs. It recovered in 6-8 hours.
