353 healthy Indian subjects of both sexes of age group 18.sbd.60 years were investigated to examine the possible relationship of serum uric acid and serum total and esterified cholesterol levels. A highly significance positive correlation of serum uric acid with serum cholesterols, particularly with the ester form has been found.
