A study of susceptibility and/or resistance of larvae of Anopheles Albimanus. Wiedemann, 1821, to temephos, malathion, fenthion and fenitrothion insecticides, was performed in 23 localities of different Cuban provinces, from May 1983 to January 1985. For performing it, a method of the World Health Organization (WHO), 1981, with diagnostic doses suggested by WHO, 1980, was used. physiologic resistance of Anopheles albimanus to tempephos, malathion and fenitrothion insecticides was detected in 1, 5 and 1 localities, respectively. The rest of the localities studied resulted susceptible to such insecticides.
