In this paper read at a "Nonhuman Primate Parasite Workshop", Myers first briefly discusses the use of abstracting and indexing services (including Helminth. Abstr.) and host-parasite check lists as sources of information on nonhuman primate parasites, the abundant literature on which is scattered through many journals. Whilst the use of primates in biomedical research is growing and increasing parasite material is available for study, there are few systematists available to cope with it.
