Enfenamic acid along with acetyl salicyclic acid, phenylbutazone and hydrocortisone stabilized liver lysosomes, isolated from heavy fraction (3,500 g) from rat and rabbit. Stabilization may be a specific mechanism of action of some clinically useful antiinflammatory drugs.
