Novoimanine has been studied for its effect on the Staphylococcus sepsis course in laboratory animals. The results of studies are presented. It is shown that the intravenous novoimanine administration (15 mg per 1 kg of body weight) for 10 days favours convalescence of 72.5% of animals. In the control group this index was 20%. It is found that dissemination of organs with Staphylococcus in test animals was considerably lower than in control ones. The subsequent study of the chemotherapeutic action of novoimanine with its blood infection is expedient and promising as it widens indications for the preparation application in the medical practice or staphylococcal diseases.
