The influence of the specific inhibitor isolated from corn grain on the capacity of factor XII to activate blood coagulation factor VII has been studied. The blood plasma treatment with the inhibitor prevents the cold activation of factor VII, acceleration of the thrombotest and stimulant effect of koalin. It has been proved that the activation of factor VII does not depend on Hageman factor.
