Haloxon given in food at 35 and 50 mg. per kg. body-weight was highly efficient against adult Ascaris, and adult, 5th and 4th stage Oesophagostomum in pigs. Clearances were virtually complete in most of the tests and were never lower than 95%. Doses of 35 and 50 mg. per kg. haloxon had low to moderate efficacy against adult Hyostrongylus, but 75 mg. per kg. gave 74% clearance. Haloxon was given in a small quantity of food and proved to be highly palatable to pigs.
