The chief arthropods that cause skin lesions in farm animals in Britain (mange mites of the genera Sarcoptes, Psoroptes, Chorioptes and Demodex), Trombiculid larvae, ticks, lice, Melophagus ovinus (L.), Lucilia and warble flies are reviewed, and very brief notes given on recent developments in control.
